The USB ports on a PC are always Type A USB ports therefore if your scale has a Type B USB port, you would need to get a USB cable that has a Type A connector on one end and a Type B connector on the other. This value is the raw character string returned by the scales. If your scale has a USB connection then you would need to determine what connector is on the scale.
